• Lecturer: Dr. Saleh Al-Tarifi
  • Location: Dental Clinics Auditorium
  • Organizer: Arab Private University in cooperation with the National Union of Syrian Students

The Arab Private University, in cooperation with the Students' Union, hosted a specialized scientific lecture titled "Storage Conditions in Pharmacies", presented by Dr. Saleh Al-Tarifi on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at the university's Dental Clinics Auditorium.

The lecture addressed the key standards and conditions for proper storage of medicines and medical supplies within pharmacies. Dr. Al-Tarifi highlighted the results of a field study covering 100 pharmacies during July and August of the summer of 2025 (the hottest period of the year), where temperatures and humidity levels were measured to monitor compliance with proper storage guidelines.

The study results revealed a general shortcoming in applying good storage practices across a number of surveyed pharmacies. This could negatively impact the quality and efficacy of stored pharmaceuticals and medical preparations, posing a risk that requires immediate action to protect public health.

The lecture witnessed engaging academic discussion, with Dr. Al-Tarifi answering all questions and inquiries raised by the attending students and specialists.
