The Giralda, with its architectural proportions, is not just a mosque minaret, a mosque minaret, or a cathedral bell, but rather an architectural edifice, with history, present, and perhaps future.
It has existed throughout the ages, distinguished, brilliant, and prosperous, inspiring and motivating many international architects to benefit from the principles of its design, the elegance of its proportions, and the richness of its elements, to design many distinguished and famous international towers throughout history and throughout the world from East to West. There were many types and shapes of towers, tower buildings and skyscrapers influenced by the Giralda architectural style, as well as many ways and forms of benefiting and being influenced, regardless of architectural function, place or time.
The shedding of light through this lecture aimed to guide and motivate our students, in particular, and Arab architects, in general, to break out of the circle of shortcomings, by increasing their interest in Arab architecture and working hard to devote its architectural thought and its distinct functionally and aesthetically distinct design elements. Not by imitating the architectural heritage, but by benefiting from its elements and components and trying to develop them in their design ideas for buildings and facilities of today and the future.
In summary, the Giralda is not just a tower of stones, but rather it is truly a history of civilization.
